Redline Photo approached us to develop a brand identity as well as a custom eCommerce experience for their customers.
Redline Photo has over 10 years of experience within the motorsports industry creating innovative ways of capturing motorsports events through photography and social media marketing.
In researching the automotive and event industry we wanted to pull inspiration from simplistic designs that stood out with a minimalistic style. We knew with the eCommerce website that the focus should be more so on the photography than any other elements so a less is more style worked well for this brand.
Our initial strategy for developing the brand identity was to keep a minimal mark as the focal element. Since photography is their specialty this mark needed to be used flexible for branding throughout a number of mediums.
The custom built ecommerce website utilizes a number of unique features from a design and development standpoint. Customers have the opportunity of navigating to the event they attended and through a custom gallery feature can swipe or click through their images and add them to cart without leaving the page.
Knowing the audience within the event industry we knew a fully responsive design would be a high priority as visitors may want to shop while at the event and purchase photos while on the go.
